I have been the Sourcing Lead for the Network Rail Decarbonisation Programme for 3 years. Network Rail is one of the largest users of power in the UK. I work across all areas including Renewable Power Purchase, Road fleet transition to Electric, Energy Efficiency and Carbon reduction in infrastructure.

I have over 25 years’ experience in procurement and supply and during that time I have managed the procurement process for a wide range of goods and services, across the public, private and third sectors.

My first position was as a stock controller for a large blue-chip organisation, since then I have successfully managed various projects, including a first-generation outsourcing project for critical infrastructure, setting up a procurement function, that won a CIPS Supply Management award for Best Third Sector project, for Scope’s ambitious procurement transformation program and even designing a warehousing and distribution function from scratch.

I also built an off-grid villa in Jamaica that utilized, solar, batteries, bio-digester and an atmospheric water generator. I have a BA in Business Operations and I am a Chartered Member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
