Maria del Mar Bernal Conde

Driving innovation in sustainability, Mar Bernal is leading Lightsource bp’s supply chain in a greener and more sustainable direction. With a strong background in chemistry and an MBA, complemented by specialized training in Business Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge and Good Governance certification, Mar’s strategy combines technical expertise with strategic vision.

Before joining Lightsource bp, Mar held key roles at Vestas, Huntsman and ABB, where she led organizational change and set new standards of excellence, being recognized for her ability to develop supply chains in emerging markets and her ability to improve efficiency and optimize costs, always with a focus on sustainability.

Outside of work, Mar enjoys using her knowledge to promote profitable and efficient sustainable practices and volunteers for several community initiatives.
