Alasdair co-leads Ofgem’s policy work on Connections Reform, including delivery of the joint November 2023 joint Government / Ofgem Connections Action Plan (CAP). The CAP seeks to hold the ESO and network companies to account to ensure delivery of their own connections process improvement and reform initiatives, whilst also setting strategic direction to drive further improvements and reduce connection timescales.
Alasdair joined Ofgem in 2016, having previously spent 10 years in the upstream UK oil and gas industry.
