
Simon Crowe
Simon is a Chartered Surveyor with over 27 years of industry experience and the founder of Low Carbon Alliance (LCA), which he established in 2010. He leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to driving the decarbonisation of the built environment and advancing the development of renewable energy infrastructure across the UK.
Under Simon’s leadership, LCA delivers strategic consultancy services across the real estate and energy sectors, with expertise spanning financial appraisal, legal structuring, planning, and permitting. He has played a key role in advising landlord clients such as Canada Life, Barings, BNP Paribas, CLS Holdings and Kajima, with whom LCA have a joint venture renewable energy development platform.
Through the joint venture, Taiyo Power & Storage, he has also secured planning or more than 100MW of permitted ground-mounted solar PV and Battery storage and is working on a development pipeline of over 500MW.
Simon brings a wealth of practical insight into the intersection of real estate, sustainability, and renewable energy, and is a compelling advocate for accelerating the transition to a lowcarbon economy.
