Patricia Dillon
Patty Dillon is Vice President of Criteria and Category Development at the Global Electronics Council (GEC), where she oversees the development and maintenance of technical performance requirements for EPEAT, the leading global ecolabel for electronic products, including PV modules. EPEAT covers a broad range of sustainability issues from climate to circularity, chemicals and responsible supply chains. In her position, Patty ensures that EPEAT criteria are credible, impactful and represent leadership. Decarbonization of technology products to address our climate crisis is currently a major emphasis. On this issue, Patty oversaw the development of EPEAT’s new low carbon solar criteria that establish maximum thresholds for carbon emissions in the PV manufacturing supply chain. EPEAT will launch these new climate-focused criteria for solar panels in June 2024.
