Gretchen Dolson

Ms. Dolson is HDR’s Renewable Energy Director and a Professional Engineer in the United States.  She currently leads business strategy and technology thought leadership efforts in the areas of solar, off-shore wind, wind, geothermal, biogas and energy storage development at HDR.  With HDR renewables staff working in the UK and internationally, Ms. Dolson and HDR’s focus is on utilizing global technical expertise and local presence to deliver sustainable facilities to HDR’s renewable energy clients.

Ms. Dolson has led the team to plan and build-out more than 20,000 megawatts of renewable energy in the past 10 years. Throughout her career, she’s led projects ranging from solar, energy storage and wind energy to geothermal and landfill gas-to-energy facilities. She thrives on seeing the positive impacts renewable energy brings to the overall sustainable and resilient energy generation mix, with a balance of economic, environmental and societal benefits.
