Elena Sarieva

Elena Sarieva is Head of Planning at Elements Green, where she leads on consents management for grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. She has played an integral role in the development of the Great North Road Solar and Biodiversity Park. Since the project’s inception, Elena has led on a range of disciplines, including planning, coordination of environmental inputs for the Development Consent Order (DCO) application, and community engagement.

Elena has considerable experience in the delivery of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), gained during her previous roles at SSE’s Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm consents team, and as part of the planning team for Cleve Hill Solar Park.
