Matthew Yard

Matt joined Schroders Greencoat in 2021 and manages all operational and financial aspects of Greencoat’s UK solar farms.

Matt joined Schroders Greencoat from Belltown Power where he developed and managed their asset management team, providing a wide range of technical, commercial, and financial asset management services to owners of PV solar, onshore wind and hydro projects. Prior to this, Matt spent 10 years in EY’s energy corporate finance team, where he advised on the investment of over £4bn of renewable energy corporate finance, due diligence, and project finance transactions across the sector.

Matt is a Chartered Accountant, having gained fellowship membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Management from Cardiff university.
