I am a Senior Project Manager and team leader for New Technology Delivery for ScottishPower Renewables. I am a Chartered Engineer and I have been working in the energy industry for over 16 years. Over the last 10 years I have been with SPR, I have developed and built onshore windfarm assets, before joining the New Technology Delivery team in 2018, to build a pipeline of solar PV and other tech sites. Currently, I am responsible for the majority of the development of solar and battery storage schemes within SPRs portfolio, as well as work with others to explore the opportunities on other emerging technologies. Our portfolio includes retrofit hybridisation of our existing onshore windfarm fleet, as well as bring forward many new multi-tech schemes. Our most exciting project that we are working on currently, within my portfolio, is the Solar PV, Battery and hydrogen generation scheme, proposed as a retrofit to our existing Whitelee Extension windfarm.
